Copenhagen is a pretty city overlooking the Oresund Strait and is the capital of Denmark. It is most famous for being home to the children’s writer Hans Christian Anderson. It is a friendly city, where old stories mix with modern architecture. At the harbour, you will find the famous statue of the Little Mermaid and you can explore the lakes and parks at the Tivoli gardens. With car hire in Copenhagen, get out of the city and drive across the Oresund Bridge to Malmo in Sweden, which is just 8 km away.
