One of the busiest airports in the world, London’s Heathrow Airport is not only used for visitors and business travel to London but as a stopover for world travellers using Heathrow as a hub. The city of London has many attractions for the visitor including some of the world’s most famous landmarks. Tower Bridge, Big Ben and the River Thames are a good starting point and then Buckingham Palace, home to the English Royal Family is a must. Westminster Abbey and Hyde Park are close by for a bit of culture and relaxation. You can go shopping in Oxford Street or head for Harrods in Knightsbridge, even if it is just for the experience. Covent Garden is great for entertainment, outdoor cafes and a little shopping. See a show in the West End and take a trip on the London Eye for spectacular views of the city.
